Medovik is a classic honey cake dating back to the 1820s in imperial Russia, famously created by a young court chef for a Russian empress who was said to dislike honey, until this delicate, layered cake changed everything.

Over time, the recipe travelled across many countries, evolving through generations while preserving its soul.

Our family recipe is influenced by Middle Eastern techniques, where each honey cake layer is crafted exceptionally thin and baked with precision.
As the cake rests, the layers gently soften into the cream, creating Medovik’s signature tender texture and deep, caramel like honey flavour.
